The VIB Flow Core's main objective is to give users access to a broad portfolio of flow cytometer analyzers, FACS cell sorters, and multiplexing devices. All the equipment is quality controlled by the specialized staff and kept in optimal condition to secure minimal downtime. The staff is available to help users with the design, acquisition, and analysis of their experiments.

Our mission is to provide top-quality service and to assist researchers with all steps of their flow cytometry experiments.

The Flow Core offers different types of training to the users. We have a monthly theoretical flow introduction training, organize personal hands-on sessions on all machines, and regularly set up technical seminars in collaboration with vendors.

Next to this, the VIB Flow Core is actively involved in the development of new assays and with the scouting for and implementation of new emerging technologies and/or applications.
